Guests arriving in November and December 2026 will find a resort partly under works. None of the closures stops a comfortable stay, but some change how a day is planned. The table records each one.
| Facility | Status | Expected back | Use instead |
|---|---|---|---|
| Resort health centre: pool, spa, gym, sauna, change rooms | Closed since 26 Aug 2026 | December 2026 | Villas pool, spa and gym |
| Watergarden Dining (bistro) | Closed for renovation | Not stated | Its menu is served at Links Restaurant |
| Golf coaching at The Range | Unavailable since 13 Sep 2026 | "Until further notice" | Bays and mini golf remain open |
| Pony and trail rides | Temporarily unavailable | Early January 2027 | Mountain bikes for hire |
| Championship Golf Course | Closed for redevelopment | December 2026 (intended 4 Dec) | The Range driving bays |
Something new
Not every change is a closure. From 2 November 2026, Launceston Airport's new SkyBus Launceston City Express runs seven days a week, including public holidays, timed to meet flights, with stops at the Transit Centre, City Park and Launceston General Hospital. The airport describes the vehicles as having free Wi-Fi, luggage racks and wheelchair access. It does not reach Prospect Vale, but it makes a car-free arrival cheaper: SkyBus to the city, then a taxi or the Metro bus to the resort.
How the desk handles it
A request for dates in November or December 2026 is answered with a short note of what will be closed during the stay. Where a reopening date is only "expected", the desk says so rather than promising it. The pages most affected are pools and fitness, restaurants and golf.
This note will be revised when the health centre and Watergarden Dining reopen.
