Privacy notice
The site collects only what a guest types into the request form, uses it only to answer that request, and sets no cookies.

This notice explains how Prospect Vale Stay handles personal information, with reference to the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Questions and requests go to hello@prospectvalestay.com.

The site does not ask for card details, identity documents or dates of birth, and it does not want them. Please do not include health information in the notes unless it is needed for an accessibility request.
Where it goes
A request travels over an encrypted connection to the site's server at DigitalOcean in Sydney and from there to the site's booking desk. To check availability, the desk shares the name, dates, party size and relevant notes with the resort's reservations team or a booking partner — only when the guest has asked it to. It is not sold, rented or used for marketing lists.
Cookies, analytics and third parties
- No cookies are set by this site.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts are loaded.
- Fonts and images are served from the site itself.
- Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which processes visitors' IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
- Google Maps: on the home page the map loads only after the "Show the map" button is pressed; on the getting-here page the map is embedded and loads from Google as the page is scrolled to it. When a map loads, Google receives the visitor's IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy.
How long it is kept
Requests are kept for as long as needed to answer them and to deal with any booking that follows, and are deleted within twelve months of the last contact unless a law requires otherwise.
Access, correction and complaints
Anyone may ask to see, correct or delete the information they have sent, by writing to hello@prospectvalestay.com. The site aims to reply within 30 days. If a privacy complaint is not resolved, it can be taken to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
