Golf at the club: a new eighteen holes and a range that is already open

The original 1982 course has been rebuilt as a parkland championship layout by Robin Gibson; tee times are taken from December 2026. The Range — 28 heated bays and an 18-hole mini golf course — opened first.

Golf has been part of the property since it was built. The first course, laid out in 1982 by Peter Thomson and Mike Wolveridge, mixed links and parkland styling with large fairways, water hazards and fast greens. That course has closed for a complete redevelopment. The resort's current pages describe a $20 million transformation by the course architect Robin Gibson, keeping the centuries-old trees and the lake and adding stone bridges and some six kilometres of rocky streams, in a parkland cross-links style.

The back nine, hole by hole

The resort has published notes on holes 10 to 18. The names give a fair sense of the design, which is built around water and decisions between the safe line and the bold one.
